Kangana and Rangoli requests SC to transfer the case to Himachal Pradesh
Mumbai : Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have reached the Supreme Court. Both have filed a petition seeking to transfer three criminal cases in Mumbai to Himachal Pradesh. It has been said in the petition that if the trial runs in Mumbai, then their lives are in danger due to personal retaliation of Shiv Sena leaders.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have filed a petition in the Supreme Court in the case of comments on social media. Kangana and Rangoli have demanded transfer of three criminal cases registered in Mumbai to Himachal Pradesh. However, the date of hearing on Kangana’s petition has not been set in the Supreme Court.
Recently, a warrant was issued against Kangana Ranaut for commenting on lyricist Javed Akhtar on social media. Javed Akhtar has filed a case of criminal defamation on Kangana. After the issuance of this warrant, Kangana filed a petition in the Supreme Court and said that if the trial goes on in Mumbai, then there is threat to her life due to personal retaliation of Shiv Sena leaders.
