New strain of coronavirus found in a two-year-old girl in Meerut

Meerut : The new strain of coronavirus has been confirmed in a two-year-old girl from the family who returned to Meerut from the UK. After this confirmation, there has been a stir in the health department and administration. As a precaution, the entire area where the child lives is sealed. This case is of Sant Vihar Colony of TP Nagar, Meerut.

Recently the two-year-old girl returned from the UK with her parents to Meerut. According to the Meerut District Magistrate, all the family members were tested for Covid19 by the Health Department. After the report of the girl was positive in the investigation, her sample was sent to Delhi Lab for examination. This has been confirmed by the sample report sent to Delhi.

The entire area has been sealed after a new strain of Coronavirus was found in Meerut. With this, the Health Department is on alert mode and the administration has said that there is no need to panic.
