New Delhi: The trial of the Corona vaccine of Oxford University was stopped on 6 September due to side effects. It was reported that after giving medicine to a participant in the trial, he started having a spinal disease called transverse myelitis. ‘Side effects in the trial of AstraZeneca were not caused by the COVID-19 shot’, the news agency Reuters quoted Oxford University in its report.

But now the documents have shown that the disease may have been caused by giving the COVID-19 vaccine. It is not found that giving the drug given during the trial worsened the health of the participant.

The trial of this drug from Oxford University has been resumed in Britain, Brazil, India and South Africa, though not yet in the US. AstraZeneca and Oxford have not yet commented on the Reuters report.
