Srinagar : With the release of the former Chief Minister of the state Mehbooba Mufti, political stir has increased once again in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday, an important meeting of several political parties of the state took place, in which a new alliance emerged. In Thursday’s meeting, the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir discussed the ‘secret agreement’. Leaders of four other parties including the National Conference, PDP participated in it. The meeting was called by National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah. The meeting, which took place at Farooq Abdullah’s house, lasted for about two hours. At the same time, BJP will meet today in this matter. Mehbooba Mufti can also hold a press conference today.

During the group meeting, the mainstream parties of Jammu and Kashmir, who are signatories of the Gupkar agreement, formed a coalition and named it People’s Alliance. Explain that in the Gupkar agreement these political parties vowed not to allow tampering with the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. This new alliance includes PC, CPI (M), ANC and JKPM apart from National Conference and PDP.

In a secret meeting, Farooq Abdullah said that we have gathered to congratulate Mehbooba Mufti for her release after 14 months. We have decided to call this alliance a secret agreement. We ask the Government of India to return the rights of the people of the state. The political issue of Jammu and Kashmir needs to be resolved. We demand the release of all political leaders. We will meet again and formulate a strategy.

On this issue, on Thursday, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti has also tweeted. In his tweet, Mehbooba Mufti has written that the Gupkar Agreement is a joint alliance of National Conference (NC), PDP, PC, CPI (M), ANC and JKPM which is striving to restore the rights and honor of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. .

BJP also called an emergency meeting
The J&K unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has called an emergency meeting of the party on Friday to discuss the changed political situation of the union territory. This emergency meeting of BJP has been called after the announcement of alliance of parties related to Kashmir in the Union Territory.

Top leaders of Union Territory BJP Ravinder Raina, Kavinder Gupta, Dr. Nirmal Singh Ashok Kaul are expected to attend this emergency meeting. Leaders of many social and religious organizations have also been invited to this meeting. Sources associated with the party say that the BJP’s attempt is to respond to the strength of the new alliance formed in Kashmir.
