Hathras : 5 Policemen Including SP-DSP Suspended, Narco Test Of Everyone Including Victim’s Family

Lucknow : The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a tough stand regarding the Hathras gang rape case. CM Yogi has said to punish the culprits as soon as possible, setting an example for the future. At the same time, based on the preliminary investigation report, 5 police personnel including the current SP, DSP, Inspector have been suspended.

The list of these five suspended policemen includes Hathras SP Vikrant Veer, CO Ram Sabad, Inspector Dinesh Kumar Verma, SI Jagveer Singh and Head Constable Mahesh Pal. After this order, SP Shamli Vineet Jaiswal has been appointed the new SP of Hathras in place of SP Vikrant Veer.

With this, another big decision has been taken. Narco test of victim’s family and some other people related to the case will be done. Apart from this, narco and polygraph test of policemen will be done. At the same time, no action has been taken on DM Praveen Kumar.

Yogi Adityanath, CM Of Uttar Pradesh in a tweet has tried to respond to the criticism that the security of women in UP is weak. In his tweet, he has written that ‘In Uttar Pradesh, those who only think of destroying the honor and self-respect of mothers and sisters, their total destruction is sure. They will receive such punishment which will set an example in future. Your @UPGovt is committed to the safety and development of everyone. This is our promise.’

It is being told that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very angry with the way the Hathras administration has handled the whole matter and hence the report of the officials was called for the CM office late in the evening. After which the Yogi government has given this decision.

Priyanka Gandhi asked for resignation of UP CM
After Yogi Adityanath’s big decision, Priyanka Gandhi tweeted, “What will happen if we suspend a few officers? On whose order was the victim of Hathras, his family suffering grief? The phone records of Hathras DM, SP should be made public. The Chief Minister should not try to deviate from his responsibility. The country is watching, CM Yogi must resign.”
