Hathras : Father shot dead by person for lodging complaint against him for sexually harassing daughter

Hathras : A case of killing a father has come to light for lodging a complaint of molesting his daughter in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. Raged by the complaint, the accused went to the farm late in the evening and fired 10 rounds at the girl’s father and brutally murdered him.

On receiving the information of the incident, the village police have sent the dead body of the deceased for postmortem. DSP Ruchi Gupta has said that the family members of the deceased have lodged complaint in connection with the incident. The police are going to take legal action in the case.

The girl’s father Amrish had complained about the molestation of his daughter to the police station against the accused. Angered by this, the accused went to the farm and shot him dead late in the evening.

Four people opened fire on Amrish, who was harvesting potatoes in his field late Monday evening in village Naujarpur in Thana Sasni area of Hathras district. Amrish, who was injured by the bullet, died on the way to the hospital. Firing caused panic among the laborers working in the field.

When Amrish’s daughter reached the hospital, she was shocked to see that her father had died. The girl said, ‘My father had complained about molestation at the police station. My father has been killed in connection with the same thing.’ According to her, the name of the shooter is Gaurav Sharma, who carried out the incident with the help of three others.
