Washington : In India, on the one hand, millions of people are homeless, while on the other hand, industrialists of India follow a high class living that will embarrass even the emperors and the Mughals. Former US President Barack Obama has targeted Indian industrialists in his book ‘A Promised Land’.

Barack Obama’s book, A Promised Land, is in two parts, one of which was published on Tuesday (Dt. 17). In the book, Obama recounts memories of his political and social life. In the same book, Obama has criticized Rahul Gandhi, while former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been praised. But at the same time, he has raised questions about India’s industrialists.

According to PTI, in this book, Obama has commented on poverty in India. On the one hand, millions of people in India are still living in very poor conditions. In drought-stricken villages, people are living in slums, while Indian industrialists are living a life of luxury, Obama said. Obama’s book covers everything from the 2008 election campaign to the campaign to oust al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.

Barack Obama visited India in 2015. He was then the then President of the United States. This time there was a queue of Indian businessmen to meet Obama. Reliance Group chief Mukesh Ambani was also in the queue. Even a photo of the businessman standing in line to meet Obama went hugely viral at the time.
