Gandhinagar : The Swaminarayan Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar, which has been closed for 7 months due to the Corona epidemic, will reopen on Sunday, October 25th on Dussehra.

Swaminarayan Akshardham at Gandhinagar, which was closed for about seven months due to the global epidemic Corona, will be reopened to the public on the auspicious day of Dussehra on 25th October at 5 pm. Visitors and devotees will be able to visit this magnificent cultural complex from now on.

Current Schedule for Darshan
Entry to the Akshardham campus will be available every evening from 5 to 7.30 pm except Mondays. Visitors will also be able to watch the water show held every evening at 7.15 pm after visiting the Akshardham temple. Apart from this, the parks of Akshardham and Premavati Restaurant will also be open for visitors. In addition, visitors will be able to get puja materials and immunity booster ayurvedic herbs from the book stall. The Abhishek Pooja ceremony as well as all the exhibition halls will be closed for the time being.

Visitors must strictly adhere to all government rules and guidelines regarding the Corona epidemic to maintain their own and public health during their visit to Akshardham. They will have to wear masks in the temple premises as well as observe social distance. Thermal screening and hand sanitization will be mandatory before entering the premises. Visitors with higher-than-normal temperatures as well as Covid-19 symptoms will not be allowed inside the temple.
