New Delhi :

Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Delhi. According to the news agency, its intensity on the Richter scale was 2.3. The earthquake occurred at 5.30 am. This is the second time in ten days that Delhi has been shaken by an earthquake. Earlier on December 17, there was an earthquake in Alwar, Rajasthan with a magnitude of 4.2, but its tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR too.

According to the news, people felt the tremors of the earthquake in Delhi as well as some areas of NCR, such as Noida and Ghaziabad, although this has not yet been confirmed. Senior scientists of the country have already feared many times that a major earthquake may occur in Delhi and its surrounding areas.

Sometime ago scientists had predicted a major earthquake in the Himalayas and said that a large earthquake can occur at any time with a series of earthquakes in the Himalayan range. Its intensity can be eight or even higher on the Richter scale. According to scientists, many such small earthquakes are a sign of great destruction.
