Mumbai : Usually people ignore Abdominal pain (stomach pain) and think it’s normal. In many emergency cases, abdominal pain is very common. If the patient has the right information about the disease, then contacting a doctor or nurse on the helpline is the best option. In this article, we will tell you all the reasons for stomach pain. Liver, gallbladder or pancreas –
If a person has pain in the upper abdomen just below the ribs, then it is a sign of liver, gallbladder or pancreas. Gallstone is the most common condition in this. Gallstones block the bile duct, causing liver function problems or infection in the pancreas, known as pancreatitis. In such a situation, if the patient is suffering from fever, vomiting or yellow eyes, then he should definitely go to the emergency room. These symptoms can be fatal.

Diverticular Disease –
Diverticular disease develops due to small sacs (pouches) in the colon. This may increase the risk of stomach irritation and infection. In medical language, it is called diverticulitis. Although diverticular disease is not a medical emergency, if the patient suddenly has a severe pain in the abdomen, constipation, diarrhea, spasms or swelling, then please contact the doctor.

Kidney stone –
Kidney stone means the pain of stones is very painful, although it is not fatal. In Kidney stone, the patient starts having pain in the lower abdomen, which starts to spread back to the waist. Along with this, dizziness, live nervousness and pain in the groin are also its symptoms. If its pain is out of tolerance then the patient should go to the doctor.

Dehydration –
Due to stomach problems, vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration. Especially in children and the elderly, these problems are more common. In dehydration, you should immediately go to the doctor if you see symptoms like dry skin and mouth, loss of urine, clenching lips, and strong heartbeat. Doctors can save the patient’s life by giving fluid to the body through the veins immediately.

Appendicitis – Appendicitis is an infection of the appendix. Appendix can worsen in the event of not getting treatment. A sudden sharp pain in the middle of the abdomen, slowly moving to the right side is a sign of appendicitis. There are different types of pain in it. A slight pain around the umbilical cord continues to intensify, spreading to the right side of the stomach. In case of appendix pain, the patient should go for emergency medical treatment. In this, the doctor can advise to remove the appendix and take antibiotics.

Blood vessels rupture or bleeding – Our stomach is full of blood vessels. There is also the largest blood vessel called ‘Orta’ of the body. In Orta, many times there is a problem of urtication due to puncture or cut. The rupture or bleeding of the blood vessels of the stomach can be life-threatening. Sudden abdominal pain is the most prominent symptom in the stomach. Some people also have problems with shortness of breath, rapid heart beat or vertigo. If you see all these symptoms with abdominal pain, you should immediately go to the doctor.

Intestine blockage – Blockage in the intestines can cause difficulty in getting waste materials out of the body. Some blockages can partially close an intestine, while some blocks close the entire intestine. Sudden blockage of the entire intestine can be fatal. A person’s intestinal block can also be caused by a disease like tumor, inflammatory bowel disease or hernia.

Volvulus is the most dangerous cause of intestinal blockage. Volvulus develops when the colon in the abdomen starts to turn on its own. In such a situation, if the patient does not get timely treatment, then volvulus will tear the intestine or cause tissue death. Abdominal pain, stomach cramps, abdominal bloating, fever, rapid heartbeat, blood in stool are the main symptoms. On seeing all these symptoms, the patient should immediately go to the doctor for treatment.
