New Delhi : The Election Commission has announced the assembly elections of 4 states including West Bengal and one Union Territory. The Election Commission gave information about the election schedule of West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry in a press conference on Friday.

Tamilnadu Election 2021 Dates Live Updates: Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said that due to Covid19, there will be a maximum of 1000 voters at every polling booth. These elections will include 824 constituencies. The Commission has given specific guidelines regarding Covid19. States can change these according to their own. Road shows will be with some restrictions.

Assam Election 2021 Dates Live Updates: According to Arora, votes on 824 seats will be cast in 4 assembly elections. 18.68 crore Voters will vote in this election. Elections will be held for 294 seats in West Bengal, 234 in Tamil Nadu, 140 in Kerala, 126 seats in Assam and 33 seats in Puducherry.

Arora said that in Assam, there will be votes in 3 phases. The first phase will start from 27 March 2021. The second phase will start from 1 April and the third phase from 6 April. The results will be announced on 2 May.

Kerala & Tamil Nadu Election 2021 Dates Live Updates: Arora told that after this Kerala’s number will come. Voting will be done in 1 phase in Kerala. Voting will be held here on 6 April. By-elections will also be held together. The same will happen in Tamil Nadu. There will also be votes cast in 1 phase. There will be polling in Tamil Nadu on 6 April and counting on 2 May.

West Bengal elections in 8 phases: The Chief Election Commissioner told that elections will be held in 8 phases in West Bengal. Puducherry will have 30 seats in one phase and voting on April 6.
