Srinagar : Militants opened fire on policemen in the Barjula area of Srinagar, in which two Jammu and Kashmir police personnel have been killed. After the incident, the area has been completely cordoned off and the search for the terrorists are on. Policemen injured in the terror attack were rushed to the hospital for treatment, but their lives could not be saved. Initially there was talk of firing by unknown people, but later the agencies confirmed the terror attack. It is being said that the terrorists who came out of a street attacked the police and then escaped through the same street.
The incident of the terror attack on police comes just after a two-day visit of 24 diplomats from 20 countries. It is believed that the terrorists have done this to get international discussion through this incident. Terrorists fired indiscriminately on policemen from close range and escaped. Such firing in the crowded market created a sensation in Srinagar and immediately sent security forces on a large scale. Surrounding the area, terrorists are being searched. The injured policemen were rushed to the hospital immediately, but both could not be saved. One of the martyred soldiers is Constable Sohail.

This is the second terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir in the last three days. On Wednesday, the terrorists killed the son of a restaurant owner.
