Poonch : The Pakistani army fired mortars on Sunday morning in front of fencing on the Line of Control in Shahpura sector of the district. One of these mortars damaged the house of village resident Mohammad Kafir Khan. Walls and doors were damaged due to mortar pieces. Family members sleeping in the house narrowly survived.

The Pakistani Army opened fire in the early hours of Sunday. People said that they do not know what the Pakistan Army wants from us. Which is unnecessarily targeting our homes. If the firing is being carried out by the army, then if any bullet falls in our village in retaliation by the Pakistani army, then it is understandable.

But without any reason what the Pakistani army wants to achieve by firing at our homes. Family members of the victim said that if this mortar fell in the morning or during the day, our children could have lost their lives. Because during the day, all the children of the neighborhood play here.

Pakistan is also continuously firing at the International Border (IB) in violation of the ceasefire. On Saturday night also Pakistan fired for hours in the Bobia area. 25 Chenab Rangers of Pakistan fired from Chak Saman, Chak Timber from 11 am to 3 pm using small and big weapons.

Tried to target BSF post and the residential areas adjoining it in Bobia. The BSF also gave a befitting reply. There is no notice of loss of life or property in the fire. Pakistan has been firing continuously to disrupt the work of building security dams running along the border in the region.
