New Delhi : The Indian Cricket Board issues an annual contract list for its players every year. In this, different players are divided into different classes based on their performance. All have a fixed salary limit according to which the players are given salary from BCCI.

Grade A + is considered to be the best in this list, in which the player living gets seven crore rupees annually. Similarly, there are A, B and C groups which have their own salary limit.

Currently the A+ grade includes the names of Team India captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah. They get a salary of seven crore rupees from BCCI every year. But this time, especially the way some players have performed on the tour of Australia. After this, it is expected that many players will get a place in the top grade.

KL Rahul:
KL Rahul, the right-handed batsman of the team, performed brilliantly in the last one year. He has also taken responsibility of wicket-keeping along with batting in different batting order according to the needs of the team.

Rahul has played many brilliant and match-winning innings after which he has become one of the favorite players of the team. In such a situation, he can be promoted to A + grade.

Ravindra Jadeja:
Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has become an important part of Team India. He has performed brilliantly in all three formats of cricket. He has made significant contributions in all three places including batting, bowling and fielding. Recently he also performed brilliantly on the tour of Australia.

Ajinkya Rahane:
In the absence of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, who is leading the team in Australia, has won all the hearts with a great game in the Test series. He also managed to win the team with a century in Melbourne. It would not be surprising if Rahane, one of the vice-captains and key players of the Test team, is included in the A + grade.

Mohammad Shami:
In the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, everyone has been impressed by Mohammed Shami with the way has given the edge to Team India’s bowling. Shami has bowled tremendously in all three formats in different series, from the World Cup to the last few years. He is now a key part of the team as well as a key bowler. Shami is currently in A grade but is expected to be promoted in the new contract.

Hardik Pandya:
Hardik Pandya, who was away from cricket for a long time due to injury, was placed in B grade in the previous contract. He could not play many matches, due to which his salary was reduced. But the way he performed on the Australia tour and was the Man of the Series in the T20 series, his promotion is almost certain.

Ravichandran Ashwin:
Ravichandran Ashwin, who led Team India’s spin bowling in Test cricket, is currently in Grade A. But given the way he returned to the Australia tour after a long time and impressed with the superb bowling, he is also expected to be promoted. Ashwin won the hearts of all with his bat as well as the ball in the Sydney Test.
