Encounter between terrorists and security forces continues for last 12 hours in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar : Encounter between terrorists and army has once again erupted in Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter has been going on for more than 12 hours at Umrabad in Lavepora on the outskirts of Srinagar. In this encounter that started late yesterday evening, it is believed that two terrorists were hiding in a house. One of these terrorists surrendered after an appeal by security forces but the other one is still hiding in the building.

This terrorist is continuously firing on the security forces. It is being told that both of them are LeT operatives. The encounter is going on near the highway, due to which movement has been stopped since yesterday evening. Earlier, security forces in Poonch district on Sunday arrested two militants of ‘Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force’. Explosive material was also recovered from the terrorists.
