J-K DDC Election : BJP wins in Srinagar, Candidate Aijaz Hussain gives credit to PM Modi

Srinagar : The results of the DDC Election result are being announced today. A total of 280 seats were voted in eight phases. 2178 candidates have tried their luck.

BJP has also won the seat in Kashmir Valley. BJP candidate Aijaz Hussain has won from Balma seat in Srinagar. This victory of Aijaz Hussain is very special because BJP’s victory in Kashmir valley is like a record.

This is the first election after the removal of Article 370. So everyone’s eyes are on this election. BJP has also put full emphasis in the election, the effect of which is visible in the results so far. However, the Gupakar coalition seems to be ahead of the BJP in some areas.

Speaking to the media, BJP candidate Engineer Aijaz Hussain, who won from Khanmoh seat in Srinagar, gave credit of his victory to PM Narendra Modi. Aijaz Hussain said that his victory is a befitting reply to Gupkar leaders.
