Jammu-Kashmir : Unknown gunmen shoots PDP leader’s PSO in Srinagar, Dies in hospital

Srinagar : Unknown gunmen opened fire on the PSO of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Srinagar’s Natipora area on Monday morning. PSO has been seriously injured in this. He was admitted to hospital where he died during treatment.

A senior police official said that the militants escaped after firing at the PSO of PDP leader Haji Parvez Ahmed in Natipora area of Srinagar in central Kashmir on Monday morning. The PSO was injured in this attack. The injured PSO has been identified as Constable Manzoor Ahmed. He was admitted to SMHS Hospital for treatment, where he died after an hour.

After this attack, police and security forces have started a search operation in Natipora. Vehicles are being stopped and searched at various points in the city. The TRF terrorist has claimed responsibility for the attack, while the police have not confirmed it.
