Gujarat : Earthquake tremors in 3 different districts of Saurashtra

Gandhinagar : There have been three earthquakes in different parts of Saurashtra. Two tremors have been reported in Talala and one in Morbi. A magnitude 3.2 earthquake shook Talala at 1.12am at night. The epicenter was reported at 11 km from Talala. The epicenter was reported at 11 km from Talala.

The second quake struck Talala at 5.52am with a magnitude of 2.0. The epicenter was reported at 12 km from Talala.

The third quake struck at 6.57 am in Morbi. The quake had a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was reported at 24 km from Morbi.

It is to be noted that an earthquake had struck South Gujarat some time back. The epicenter was reported 36 km from Bharuch. The quake affected Kheda, Dakor, Thasra, Halol, Mangrol, Mandvi, Bardoli, Umarpada and Olpad along with Surat and Bharuch. Halol was trembling for 3 seconds. The quake was also felt in some areas of Panchmahal. A mild tremor was felt in Savli taluka of Vadodara for 2 to 4 seconds.
