RSS worker killed in clash with SDPI in Kerala, BJP calls for 12-hour shutdown
Thiruvananthapuram : Two groups clashed in Alappuzha district of Kerala on Wednesday night. One Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker was killed in the clash. The Bharatiya Janata Party has called a shutdown in Alappuzha district from 6 am to 6 pm today.

According to the police, Sangh activist Nandu died in a clash between the RSS and the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in Nagamkulangara area near Cherthala. The SDPI is the political unit of the Islamic organization PFI. Police said that several other people were also injured in the clash. However, they did not share much information in the case. Kerala BJP president K Surendran condemned the death of the RSS worker and blamed the PFI for it.
