Ahmedabad : Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Ahmedabad district administration has taken an important decision in view of the increasing number of corona patients. Now a person caught without a mask will be fined, as well as his corona test will be done. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation took the decision and its employees are constantly monitoring.
Meanwhile, the Gujarat government has taken a U-turn on the decision to reopen schools, colleges and universities, as Corona cases are rising in the state. Along with this, the government has also decided to impose a night curfew in the financial capital of the state, Ahmedabad from 9 pm to 6 am.
After the festival of Diwali, the number of coronavirus cases has increased rapidly, especially in Ahmedabad.
Government had previously given the orders on 11 November to reopen schools, colleges and universities from 23 November and gave instructions in this regard.
Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama had earlier talked about opening educational institutions in a phased manner. Also, instructions were given to continue online education. However, no decision was taken to reopen the primary schools. The government had said that it would take further decision after analyzing the feedback on the implementation of the decision of 11 November.
The government’s move to open educational institutes was severely criticized by the public and now the government has to cancel its decision.
At the same time, it has been decided to impose night curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 pm to 6 am till Monday. During this time only milk and medicine shops will remain open.
