BIG BREAKING: Lalu Yadav’s health deteriorated, may need dialysis

Ranchi : The health of RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, who is serving sentence in the fodder scam, has deteriorated. Lalu is undergoing treatment at RIMS Hospital in Ranchi. There, his creatinine level has increased due to diabetes. According to the doctors, who are treating him, if his health continues to decline, dialysis may be needed within a few days. Information from RIMS has also been given to the High Court. The High Court had sought Lalu Yadav’s health report from RIMS management.

Kidney is working 25 percent
According to doctors, Lalu Yadav’s kidney is functioning only 25%. It has declined 10 per cent recently compared to earlier. If it falls further by 10–12 per cent, he may need dialysis.

When Lalu Yadav was admitted to RIMS, his kidney was at the stage of 3B. Now it has reached Stage-4. For two years, his kidney was better due to good insulin levels and under the supervision of doctors, but now it has started deteriorating once again. According to the doctors, if there was no risk of corona infection, then Lalu could be sent to AIIMS for better treatment.

Lalu is also under mental stress
According to doctors, mental stress is a major reason for his health deteriorating. He is constantly worried about the Bihar elections. He is not even paying attention to food and drink. At the same time, the date of his bail in the court is also increasing continuously. It was expected that he would get bail on 6 November, but now the High Court has given the next date of hearing 27 November.

Lalu Yadav is in jail since 23 December 2017
Lalu was convicted on 23 December 2017 in the Deoghar Treasury case of fodder scam. He has been in jail since then. He was admitted to RIMS, then Delhi AIIMS, on 17 March 2018 when his health deteriorated. The court granted him six weeks bail on 11 May 2018 for treatment. This was increased to 14 August, then 27 August 2018. The court had directed Lalu to surrender in the court on 30 August 2018. He has since been admitted to RIMS.

Lalu Yadav is currently undergoing treatment at RIMS director’s bungalow. Recently, he was shifted from the paying ward of RIMS to the RIMS director’s bungalow in view of Corona infection. Along with sugar, Lalu has also been suffering from around 11 other diseases. These include high blood pressure, heart, kidney disease as well.
