Moscow : The trial of the Corona vaccine in Russia has been stopped at present. The high demand for vaccines and the lack of dose has led to a sudden ban on trial of the corona vaccine in new volunteers. On Thursday, a representative of the firm that conducted the study said that it is a setback to stop Moscow’s ambitious Corona vaccine plan.

No side effects were seen in Russia in 85% of people who were given the shot of corona vaccine Sputnik V. Alexander Gintzberg, head of the Gamaleya Research Center, which created the vaccine, has given information about this on Monday. Alexander said the side effects of the corona vaccine were seen in 15% of people. The third phase of Sputnik V trials are underway.

The trial of Russia’s Corona vaccine in India may be over by the month of March. Hyderabad-based pharma company Dr Reddy, which is testing the Russian vaccine in India, has said that the human trials of the third phase of the Russian vaccine are expected to be completed by March. Erez Israel, chief executive of pharma company Dr. Reddy, said that registration for the mid-stage trial of the Sputnik-V vaccine would begin in the next few weeks and the trial was expected to be finished by December.

Russia has joined hands with pharma company Doctor Reddy Labs in India for a Phase 3 trial of its Sputnik-V vaccine. The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has given permission for the clinical trial of the vaccine. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has also received approval. Now the vaccine trial will start in 12 government and private institutions across the country simultaneously. It has five government and six private institutes, including GSVM Medical College.
