PM Modi’s high level meeting, Terrorists killed in Nagrota were planning 26/11 like attacks

New Delhi : A high-level meeting was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the case of encounter with terrorists in Nagrota of Jammu and Kashmir. In this meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary along with officers of all intelligence agencies were present. It is being told that the terrorists were trying to execute a big conspiracy on the anniversary of 26/11.

PM Narendra Modi said, ‘Our security forces once again displayed bravery and professionalism. Because of his vigilance, they have defeated a nefarious plot to end grassroots democratic efforts in Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter of 4 terrorists associated with Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and the presence of large quantities of weapons and explosives from them indicates that the plot has been foiled once again.

After intelligence input, the police had tightened the security system in Nagrota area and there was a tremendous checking of vehicles at every point. Meanwhile, on the Srinagar-Jammu highway around 4.20 am, a truck heading towards Kashmir was stopped by the soldiers for checking. But the driver of the truck ran off as soon as he stopped the truck during checking.

When the security forces checked the truck, the terrorists hiding in it started firing. After firing, the terrorists fled towards the forest. Security forces chased the terrorists. Retaliated. All the four terrorists were killed in the nearly three-hour action of the soldiers. The fire broke out in the truck due to the shootout. There was a huge amount of ammunition in it.

IG Vijay Kumar of Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the checking operation was being conducted on the input of intelligence. The firing started when a truck was searched. This encounter lasted for 3 hours. Police, CRPF and Army units carried out the operation. These four terrorists were related to Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Army Chief General MM Narwane had said that it was a very successful operation from the security forces. This reflects a high level of coordination between all security forces at the ground level. He said that there is a clear message for enemies and terrorists that whoever tries to infiltrate towards us will be dealt in this way and they will not be able to return.
