Gandhinagar : Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has once again targeted the Congress. At a rally in Limbdi near Surendranagar, the CM targeted former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and said that the party no longer has the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. He was reacting to the allegations leveled against the Gujarat Congress by the BJP. He said that the entire Gujarat Congress can be bought for Rs 25 crore.
CM reached to promote the by-election. He said, ‘Today the Congress is far from the qualities of Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress of the current era is not the Congress of Mahatma Gandhi, the Congress of today is only of Rahul Gandhi.
‘Congress does not respect its own legislators’
Reacting to the Congress’ charge of buying and giving tickets to the former MLA of Congress for Rs 25 crore, Rupani alleged that, ‘Congress does not respect its own legislators and once they leave the party, such allegations are made. The entire Gujarat Congress can be bought for Rs 25 crore.’
Targeting the Congress, Rupani said that when it comes to the control of the coronavirus, the Maharashtra government of the Congress is in God’s faith. He also said that there was no facility of beds in hospitals for treatment of Covid-19 in Maharashtra.
The bodies of patients who died of the corona virus were found abandoned on the pavements in Maharashtra. The Congress is part of the Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Agadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra with the NCP as its other partner.
