New Delhi : Corona cases increased again on Wednesday after declining for seven consecutive days. In the last 24 hours, Corona has 72,049 infected and 986 people have died. With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has crossed 67 lakh. So far a total of 1,04,555 people have lost their lives due to this virus in the country.

A total of 67,57,132 people have been infected with Corona so far. However, the number of active cases is steadily declining. There are now 9,07,883 active cases in the country, while 57,44,694 people have been cured.

Corona infection has reduced slightly in October compared to September. The rate of coronavirus patients in the country is now steadily decreasing, while the rate of recovery is going high. Corona investigation figures also crossed 8 crores on Tuesday, despite a decrease in new cases. According to ICMR, 8 crore 22 lakh, 71 thousand 654 samples have been tested so far in the country, 11 lakh 99 thousand, 857 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.

As of Tuesday, more than 84 percent of the people in the country have beaten Corona. There are 17 states in the country where the recovery rate is better than the national average. Recovery rates in Daman Islands, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Haryana are now over 90%. Apart from this, more than 85% patients have been cured in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Telangana, Punjab, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Goa.
