Lucknow : The state government has taken strong action in the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh. Now, along with the accused in this case, the polygraph and narco test of the victim side will also be done. The government has made this order after getting the first report of the SIT. Not only this, the Superintendent of Police of Hathras, a DSP and the in-charge of the police station concerned have also been suspended.

This information was given through a press note issued by the government late in the evening. This will be the first time that a police team investigating a case will also be subjected to polygraph and narco tests. The Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, was very angry about the action of the officials in this case. For this reason, the government has taken a big action as soon as the first report of the SIT is received.

Now, Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati has demanded a CBI inquiry into the Hathras incident. The BSP president has expressed dissatisfaction in this investigation.

She said that the initial report of this investigation does not seem satisfactory, as well as there is tremendous resentment across the country about this case. Therefore, the investigation of this case should be done under the supervision of the CBI or the Honorable Supreme Court.

She tweeted, “There is tremendous resentment in the entire country about the Hathras heinous gang rape case. The public does not seem satisfied with the initial investigation report of SIT. Therefore, this matter should be investigated by the CBI or under the supervision of the Honorable Supreme Court, this is the demand of BSP.”

Mayawati has demanded intervention of President Ramnath Kovind in this matter and said that he should bring justice to the victim’s family. Mayawati tweeted, “Honorable President of the country is from UP, and being a Dalit, there is also a strong appeal to him to interfere in this case, especially in view of the government’s inhuman attitude, to bring justice to the victim’s family.”
