Former Employee Of Infosys Turned ‘Psycho Serial Killer’, Son Of RJD MLC, Arrested

Patna : Avinash Srivastava alias Amit, popularly known as Psycho Killer, who did 20 murders in Bihar using his pistol, is the son of former MLC Lalan Srivastava. He has finally been arrested. Patna Police arrested him on Wednesday night at 11.30 am from a hotel located on the main road of Raxaul. According to a newspaper, Avinash Srivastava was with his mother at the time of arrest. Both were trying to escape to Nepal. During this time, the Patna Police cell caught him and sent him to Patna.

Avinash is a resident of MIG Colony of Kankarbagh police station area of the capital Patna. He is known as the Psycho Killer in Bihar. This is the second culprit after Gorakhpur’s Sriprakash Shukla. Avinash, who worked in Infosys company after doing MCA from Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi, entered the world of crime when his father and then MLC Lalan Srivastava was shot dead in Hajipur in 2002. Avinash started searching for his culprits to avenge the death of his father.

In the year 2003, Avinash killed Pappu Khan, one of his father’s murderers, in Hajipur by shooting 32 rounds of fire. Since then he was named Psycho Killer. He selectively killed his father’s killers. According to reports, after killing a person in Hajipur, Avinash sat near his corpse for three hours and shot the corpse every minute.

In 2016, when the SP of Vaishali was questioned by Avinash, he confessed the 20 murders in Patna. Recently he has been released from Hajipur Jail. After leaving prison, he was about to flee to Nepal. Patna police got this information. After this, on Wednesday night, the police Patna Police cell raided the hotel and caught him from Raxaul.
