3-Storied Building Collapses in Bhiwandi Near Mumbai; 9 People Dead, Many Feared Trapped
Mumbai : A three-storey building collapsed in Bhiwandi in Thane district in Maharashtra in the early hours of Monday. According to the PRO of Thane Municipal Corporation, 8 people have died so far from being buried in the garbage. Also, many people are feared trapped.
The accident of building collapses has again come to light in Maharashtra. Now a three-storied building in Bhiwandi, Thane, adjoining Mumbai, collapsed. 20 to 25 people are feared trapped in the building debris, while 20 people have been evacuated so far with the help of local people. All the injured are being admitted to a nearby hospital. At the same time, the team of NDRF reached the spot and started relief work. The work of evacuating people from under the debris is being done.
