Corona Red Zones in India, 10 Major States From Where 77% Cases Of Total New Cases Are Being Reported
New Delhi : Corona has caused havoc in India. According to data from the Union Health Ministry, the number of people infected with corona in the country has increased to 50,20,360. Whereas in the last 24 hours, after the death of 1,290 patients from this epidemic, the total death toll has increased to 82,066. At the same time, the number of people who have been cured of corona infection in India is 39,42,361.
According to the data, 9,95,933 patients are being treated in the country right now. This is about 20 percent of the total cases. However, according to the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate at the national level in the country is 78.28 percent. The disturbing thing is that out of the total active cases of corona, 77 percent of the patients are from only 10 states. These states are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Odisha, Assam and Kerala. Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey gave this information in Rajya Sabha.
According to the ministry’s data, nearly half (48.8 percent) of the active corona patients are from 3 states, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Kerala and Telangana contribute nearly a quarter (24.4 percent) of the total hospitalized patients.
Some relief between the deaths due to corona and the ever increasing cases is that the number of people recovering from this deadly virus is also increasing but people are not recovering at the speed with which new cases are coming. During the last 24 hours, 82961 people across the country have recovered from Corona. A total of 39,42,361 people have been cured of corona so far and the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country is 78.52 percent. Total active cases are 9,95,933.
Testing is being continuously carried out across the country to identify corona patients, more than 11.16 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Tuesday and the total coronavirus testing has now crossed 5.94 crores. India is having the most corona tests worldwide after the US.
