New Delhi : After protesting at the Red Fort, violence and religious flags were hoisted, many protesters staged protest at the Red Fort. The farmer leader Sukhdev Singh had instigated these people to sit on the dharna. He had been sitting on dharna for many hours. At around 10:30 pm most of the disturbers left the spot, then the police arrested Sukhdev Singh and others from the Red Fort.

Additional Commissioner of Police of Crime Branch Shibesh Singh said that it has also been found from the mobile location that Sukhdev Singh was present at Red Fort. This is the biggest evidence against Sukhdev Singh.

Crime Branch DCP Monica Bhardwaj said that Sukhdev Singh had reached the Red Fort at around 4:30 pm on the day of the violence. He was accompanied by his supporters. After the violence, he became the chief of the miscreants sitting on dharna at Red Fort. He was provoking people. Police had removed Sukhdev Singh and other protesters from Red Fort around 10:30 pm. Police officials say that Sukhdev Singh did not cooperate much in the interrogation. He is telling the same thing over and over again.

A crime branch official said that a third notice will be issued on Wednesday to the farmer leaders accused of staging a strike at the Tikari border. So far two notices have been issued. But none of these leaders have joined the inquiry. These include leaders like Buta Singh Burjgil. A third notice to about seven to eight leaders will be issued to join the inquiry.

The police officer said that about 60 people have been identified who created a ruckus when they reached Nangloi by walking from the Tikari border. Photos of these people have been revealed. The addresses and mobile numbers of these people are being obtained through license from the face recognition system (FRS). Delhi Police has asked for driving license data from Punjab, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand authorities.
