Mumbai : The leaked WhatsApp chats of Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami have exposed his real face. The leaked chat by Arnab Goswami reveals how he did not even spare the death of former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to increase his channel’s TRP. Jaitley’s death was celebrated as a major victory by Republic India Hindi. Political personalities and many well-known personalities have described Goswami’s attitude as his ‘vulture journalism’.

The conversation between Partho Dasgupta and Goswami has been leaked after which the Editor-in-Chief of Republic India has come under the radar. After Goswami’s chats surfaced, accusations have started on him of violating the ethics of journalism for his channel to benefit from TRP. On December 24, Mumbai Police arrested Dasgupta. Full details of the conversation between Goswami and Dasgupta on WhatsApp have leaked on social media. These chats are part of a supplementary chargesheet filed by the Mumbai Police in the TRP scam.

According to an official, they have arrested 15 people so far in this case and have filed a charge sheet in two parts in November and now in January. Leaked WhatsApp chats are part of the same chargesheet.
