Sensex sets new record! Trades over 49,000 on global cues, Q3 earnings

New Delhi : The Indian stock market has been on a steady rise since the announcement of the Corona vaccine. On Monday i.e. today, the Indian stock market once again set a new record. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty have reached new record highs. The Sensex touched a high of 49269 in the first hour of trading today, the highest level of the index till date.

Talking about the Nifty, it has touched a record high of 14479 in the first hour of trading today. According to the reports, shares of the IT and FMCG sector are seeing more boom in the stock market today. On the Sensex, Infosys, HCL Tech and TCS are the biggest gainers, besides Bharti Airtel, ITC, Hindustan Unilever HDFC Bank and HDFC are also seeing strong gains.

Japan’s Nikkei grew more than 2 percent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng market is also about one percent stronger. However, the markets of China, Australia and Taiwan are witnessing softening.
