‘No one can guarantee that Ram Temple will withstand natural calamities for 1000 years’

Ayodhya : General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust Champat Rai said today that no one can guarantee the thousand years of the Ram temple being built. The thousand years of the age of the temple can be termed as blank imagination. Even if we get a guarantee of 300-400 years, then we agree to build.

Champat Rai was informing the saints about the progress of the construction of the Ram temple. He said that the piling test for the temple failed. The concrete poles sank as soon as they put a load of 700 tons. To increase the life of the temple, the idea is to mix asbestos, cement and some other chemical with cement.

He said that experts from across the country have raised their hands in giving a written guarantee of a thousand years for the Ram temple. The test piling for the temple has already failed. After the load was placed on the test pillar, as soon as earthquake-like shocks were given, cracks occurred in them and they fell. In view of this, the trust has started brainstorming with technical experts afresh.

The responsibility of constructing the temple has been entrusted by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to Larsen & Toubro and Tata Consultancy. An eight-member team of experts has also been formed to strengthen it. But no one is willing to guarantee a temple that it will remain safe for a thousand years.

He said that according to the design, for the darshan of Ramlala, 32 steps of the temple will have to be climbed. 16 thousand cubic feet of stone will be used in this work. For this, a six and a half feet high platform will be made. It will be two feet long, two feet wide, and two feet high. The platform will also use stones. The mine from which this stone is to come has also been selected.
