CBI to file charge sheet in Hathras case, Polygraph test made the mainstay

Lucknow: Central investigation agency CBI will file charge sheet in Hathras case today. The CBI has prepared a charge sheet as soon as the report of the polygraph test of the accused in the Hathras case is received. The investigation agency has made polygraph test, mobile location and call details the mainstay of the chargesheet.

Charge sheet of Hathras incident will be filed in Ghaziabad CBI special court. On January 27, the CBI will file a status report during the hearing in the High Court. An FIR was registered in Chandpa police station on Hathras incident. The investigation of this case was given to Ghaziabad unit of CBI.

Significantly, the hearing on the Hathras incident in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has been completed on Wednesday. Earlier, the CBI could not file a status report in the High Court on Thursday. The next hearing of this case has been fixed on 27 January 2021.

Earlier, the High Court again questioned the government for not suspending DM Praveen Kumar till now, on which the counsel for the government side said that no complaint has come directly against the DM. The victim’s lawyer alleged that the administration has not yet produced a copy of the complaint against the DM.
