Mumbai : Abhishek Makwana, one of the writers of popular comedy serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, committed suicide at his home. Abhishek’s family claims that he was a victim of cyber fraud and was blackmailed. A suicide note of Abhishek Makwana has also come to light.

The suicide note is written in Gujarati. Abhishek said in a suicide note that he had been facing personal life and financial problems for the past few months. He apologised to the family. He tried hard enough to fight the situation, but he lost. The problems were growing instead of decreasing.

Abhishek Makwana was found dead at his Kandivali home on November 27 and Charkop police had also registered a case of accidental death in the matter.

The family also claimed that he received threatening phone calls and was asked to repay the loan. Abhishek’s brother came to know about this issue after Abhishek’s death. News of his brother’s death was received while he was in Ahmedabad. His brother’s mobile phone was constantly ringing for loan repayments. He said that his brother was no longer in the world and that the family was not in a position to say anything at the time. However, he was later threatened on the phone.
