New Dlehi : Health Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij has tested coronavirus positive 15 days after being given a trial dose of coronavirus vaccine Covaxin. Vij was given a trial dose of a coronavirus vaccine on November 20.
Anil Vij has informed through twitter and he has told everyone who came in close contact with him to get tested for coronavirus.

He further informed that he is admitted to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt. He was given a dose of Covaxin at the same hospital on November 20. Notably, Anil Vij had voluntarily offered to be the very first volunteer in Haryana for the phase three trials for the Covaxin.
Covaxin is being developed indigenously by Bharat Biotech along with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is believed to be a potential vaccine against the novel coronavirus. The vaccine maker had earlier announced that it successfully completed an interim analysis of Phase 1 and 2 trials and is working on Phase 3 trials.
