Nissan Magnite launched in India at Rs 4.99 lakh, Becomes most affordable compact SUV
New Delhi : Nissan India has launched its Nissan Magnite in India after a long wait. The company has priced the initial Delhi ex-showroom price of its new subcompact SUV in the Indian market at Rs 4.99 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.35 lakh on its top end variants. These are the entry prices, which can only be availed by customers who book it before December 31, 2020. The new Magnite is based on the CMF-A + platform on which the Renault Triber works.
Nissan has launched its Magnite in four trims. These include XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. In this, customers will get the option to choose from 20 different grades. Here customers will be able to choose the trim and model of their choice based on the engine, transmission and optional features.

Earlier, Nissan released the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of all its Magnite engines. Accordingly, a 5-speed manual transmission with a turbo engine will get a mileage of 20 kilometers per liter. At the same time, customers will get a mileage of 17.7 kmpl in its CVT model.
The Nissan Magnite is available in two petrol engines in India. These include 1.0-liter and 1.0-liter turbo petrol units. Its 1.0 liter petrol engine will generate maximum power of 71 bhp and peak torque of 96 Nm. At the same time, its 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit will generate maximum power of 99 bhp and peak torque of 160 Nm. Both engines will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the turbo petrol unit will also get the option of an optional CVT automatic unit, which will generate torque of 152 Nm.
