56th Foundation Day of BSF : ‘Salute to the bravery of soldiers,’ PM Modi-Amit Shah tweets
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the Border Security Force (BSF) on its 56th Foundation Day and said that India is proud of the force that protects the country’s international border. Prime Minister Modi tweeted that BSF has made a mark as a brave force, which is steadfast in its commitment to protect the country and help the citizens during natural calamities.
Prime Minister Modi said, “Best wishes to all @BSF_India personnel and their families on the special occasion of their Raising Day. BSF has distinguished itself as a valorous force, unwavering in their commitment to protect the nation and assist citizens during natural calamities. India is proud of BSF!”

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also saluted the brave personnel of BSF for their national service. He tweeted, “BSF has always carried out its motto ‘life-long duty’ with its valor. Today, on the 56th foundation day of BSF, I bow to all the brave soldiers of the force for their service and dedication to the nation. India is proud of its ‘Border Security Force’.
