Mumbai: Karan Johar and his Dharma production are once again in the headlines for the wrong reasons. The Goa government is very angry about the dirt that was spread during the shooting of a film of actress Deepika Padukone in a village in Goa.

Now the Goa government has also given strict warning to Dharma Productions for this – either they publicly apologize for this mistake, or be prepared for further action.

Recently, Karan Johar went to Goa with his Dharma Production team for the shooting of a film. After the shooting of the Deepika Padukone starrer film, the entire team returned to Mumbai, but during this shooting, they threw dirty clothes and garbage in a village in Goa.

After this, a resident of Nerul in North Goa uploaded a video on social media. In this video, the man showed a pile of garbage, reportedly from the crew of Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film.

After this video surfaced, this issue became a topic of discussion on social media. The state-run Entertainment Society of Goa sent a notice to Dharma Productions on Tuesday. At the same time, Goa’s Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo said on Wednesday that the owner or director of Dharma Productions should apologize to the people of the state for spreading dirt and going without cleaning it.

Michael Lobo said, “Dharma Productions should write an apology on Facebook that they had made a mistake and they acknowledged their mistake. If they do not do so, we will impose a fine on them. My department will impose a penalty on Dharma Productions . Till now, Karan Johar or any person related to this matter has not said anything, rather they are busy trying to get rid of this issue.”

This has once again made Bollywood’s double standards. On the one hand, they call for morality, question the government and the law on any event, but when it comes to themselves, they not only ruin the rules but also get rid of their responsibilities.

But the problem is not limited here. Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone have been surrounded by controversies many times before. Last year, Karan Johar came under a lot of controversies by posting an Instagram video of his party, as many celebrities present in the video were completely intoxicated, and MP Manjinder Singh Sirsa also accused them of consuming drugs.

Apart from this, Deepika Padukone is already on target for her controversial JNU tour at the beginning of the year and her alleged drug chats on her WhatsApp thereafter. In such a situation, during the shooting of the film in Goa, both are again in the controversy, and by giving strict warning against Dharma Productions, the Government of Goa has set an example – no matter how powerful you are, if you have done anything wrong, punishment will also have to be suffered.
