Trial of Covaxin done on Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij

New Delhi : In the battle with Corona, the third trial of Bharat Biotech’s

Covaxin has started from today. Haryana Minister Anil Vij is also one of the volunteers on whom this vaccine is being tested. Anil Vij had said that around 26,000 people would be tried in the third round. I have also given my name for this.

The third phase of Covaxin was conducted from Rohtak in Haryana on Friday. Minister Anil Vij has got the vaccine shot first. Vaccine trials are to be conducted on a total of 25 thousand 800 people in the country. The Vice Chancellor of PGI Rohtak had said that the third phase of Covaxin trial started on Friday. The first 200 volunteers will be given the vaccine shot.

The Vice Chancellor of PGI Rohtak said that the vaccine will have two doses. The second dose will be given 28 days after the first dose is given. We hope that the vaccine will be more than 90 percent effective. Bharat Biotech is a Indian company which is working on the corona vaccine named Covaxin.

India is producing the biotech vaccine in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Vaccine trials are to be conducted on a total of 25 thousand 800 people in the country. PGI Rohtak is one of the three centers where the vaccine is to be tested on 200 volunteers in the third phase. During this, the status of antibodies in them will be studied.
