Mumbai : Popular American singer Mary Millben released the song ‘Om Jai Jagdish Hare’ in her voice on Wednesday, greeting Diwali to people across the world.
Mary Millben said that the song ‘Om Jai Jagdish Hare’ is sung by Indians around the world in their home on Diwali, a song of worship and celebration. It constantly impresses me and sparks my interest in Indian culture.” The Canadian Screen Award and Grammy-nominated composer Daryl Bennett composed it.

Mary released it along with Sony Pictures’ producer Tim Davis, award-winning engineer, mixer George Vivo, executive director John Scouse and Brent Massey of Arizona-based production company Ambient Skies and Dena Mali, owner of Bridal Beadena. The singer released a video of it on YouTube, she is wearing an Indian outfit.
The singer said that India, the people of India, the Indian community is very special to me. Thus, celebrating Diwali 2020 is like a blessing. Mary had also expressed her love for India by singing the national anthem on India’s 74th Independence Day on 15 August 2020.
