New Delhi : The operatives of Pakistani intelligence agency ‘Inter-Service Intelligence’ (ISI) and Hafiz Saeed, chief of terrorist organization ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’, have conspired for a major terror attack on Diwali. These attacks can be carried out in crowded areas of Ambala, Lucknow and the national capital Delhi. Terrorists can also target the air force station of Ambala, where Rafale fighter aircraft are kept.
Intelligence alerts also mention installations of important military and central paramilitary forces. The security of these establishments in Delhi has been increased. Special vigil is being conducted around the headquarters of CRPF, the country’s largest central paramilitary force and the DG Staff Camp at RK Puram. Ranveer Ahmed, a special associate of Hafiz Saeed, has been given the responsibility of these attacks. He has carried out many plots before.
According to sources, this intelligence alert has been discussed in the IB’s ‘Multi Agency Center’. It clearly states that the Pakistani ISI, along with the terrorist organization ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’, has planned to attack large cities of India. These attacks can occur on the day of Diwali. They can be carried out one day before or two days later.
Security has been beefed up at the headquarters of central security forces and various investigative agencies located around the CGO. Additional security forces have been deployed. Instructions for rehearsal have been issued for this. Since Ambala has an Airforce station and there are Rafale fighter airplanes, security has been increased there as well. Apart from the local police, intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on the city. Additional CCTV cameras have been installed.
