Mumbai : Season 2 of the Mirzapur webseries got a huge response from the audience. Now viewers watching Season 2 are getting curious about when the third season will come. What will happen to Kalin Bhaiya, who was seriously injured in Season 2? Audience is eagerly wants to know this.

Responding to the same demand of the audience, the producers of Mirzapur have now decided to bring the third season of the famous series. Producer Riteish Sidhwani said, “We are very grateful to the viewers for their love for the series and the reaction on social media after the release of the new season.”

According to the series’ OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, about 50% of viewers watched the series within two days of its release. Also, ‘Mirzapur 2’ has become the most watched series on any OTT platform in just 7 days.

The most watched shows on the OTT platform so far include ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Mirzapur’, ‘The Family Man’ as well as the recently released biographical web series ‘Scam 1992: Harshad Mehta Story’.

The story of ‘Mirzapur’ is based on ‘Don of Mirzapur and Kalin Bhaiya’ (Pankaj Tripathi). Kalin Bhaiya’s son ‘Munna Bhaiya’ (Divyendu Sharma) is the root of all problems. Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) is also playing a strong role in the series and his younger brother Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Masse) who has been killed by Munna. Guddu Pandit is trying to get his revenge. In Season 2, it was shown that he took revenge by killing Munna, but will only know what will happen next in Season 3.

Many actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rajesh Tailang, Vijay Verma, Priyanshu Penuli, Sheeba Chadha, Harshita Gaur have played important roles in this series. This series has been an important milestone for all the actors. It is directed by Mihir Desai, Gurmeet Singh and Karan Anshuman, produced by Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
