Dawood Ibrahim’s property auctioned, purchased by two lawyers of Delhi

Mumbai : Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s property in Mumbai was finally auctioned. Two lawyers from Delhi have got 6 properties of Dawood. The government earned 22 lakh 79 thousand 600 rupees from this. Lawyer Ajay Srivastava has got two properties of Dawood Ibrahim and lawyer Bhupendra Bhardwaj has got four properties of Dawood Ibrahim.

The property of Iqbar Mirchi, a close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, could not be sold in auction this time as well. His property is in Juhu. Bidders believe that the value of the property is too high. So they backed out of bidding.

While the ancestral mansion of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was sold for just 11 lakh 2 thousand. During this time, Dawood’s property was bought by two lawyers from Delhi. Out of which Delhi’s lawyer Ajay Srivastava has got two properties and Bhupendra Kumar Bhardwaj of Delhi has got 4 properties.

Among them, Bhupendra Kumar Bhardwaj bought the property number 4, 5, 7 and 8. While the property number 6 and 9 has been taken by lawyer Ajay Srivastava. Dawood’s property number 10 was taken back. Because there was a technical problem in it. It is being told that there was some dispute over the boundary of that property.

7 properties of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim were auctioned through video conferencing. Among them, Haveli of Dawood’s father in Ratnagiri was auctioned off. Delhi lawyer Ajay Srivastava bought this Haveli for 11 lakh 20 thousand rupees. The property is in the Khed district of Ratnagiri in Maharashtra.

This auction was conducted by SAFMA i.e. Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Agency.

Dawood’s house and farming land were auctioned online in Mumbai. Local farmers of Mumbai did not participate in this auction. Local sarpanch Akbar Duduke said that the local aspirants would not go to Mumbai to bid.

A property in Mumbake village is named after Dawood’s mother Amina Kaskar. Both Dawood’s mother and father are not alive. Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim escaped after the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. Dawood’s Mumbai property was auctioned earlier. Now the property of Konkan has been auctioned.
