PM Modi’s Diwali gift to Varanasi, 33 projects worth Rs 614 crore starts from today

Varanasi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects in Varanasi through video conferencing. PM Modi will hand over the projects of about 614 crore rupees to the Varanasi through virtual means at around 10.30 AM today. The Prime Minister will also hold talks with the beneficiaries of the projects during this period. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion.

According to a report, the projects which will be inaugurated include Sarnath Light and Sound Show, Upgradation of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital Ramnagar, Sewerage related work, Management of infrastructure facilities for protection and conservation of cows, Multipurpose Seed Store, 100 A warehouse with metric tonnes of agricultural produce capacity, IPDS Phase-2, a residence for players at Sampurnanand Stadium, Varanasi city smart lighting works, 105 Anganwadi centers and 102 cow shelter centers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Dashashwamedh Ghat and Khidkiya Ghat, barracks for PAC police force, redevelopment of some wards of Kashi, parking facility with redevelopment of the park at Baniya Bagh, upgradation of multi-purpose hall in Girija Devi Sanskrit Shankul roads in the city, repair and development of tourism sites.

It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, on the completion of four years of demonetization, counted its three major benefits. Prime Minister Modi said that demonetization is beneficial for the country and said that it helped a lot in reducing black money.

Prime Minister Modi said, Demonetization has helped in reducing black money, increasing tax compliance, formalization and promoting transparency. These results have been very beneficial for national progress.
