Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan again violates ceasefire, firing with mortar and small arms

Srinagar : Pakistan is repeatedly violating the ceasefire along the international border. This time Pakistan violated the ceasefire in the Mankot sector of Poonch district.

Late at 2:30 pm, Pakistan violated the ceasefire and fired with small arms and mortar on the Line of Control in the Mankot sector. The Indian Army has retaliated to this.

Earlier on Thursday night too, Pakistan opened fire for nearly seven hours and targeted BSF posts. BSF jawans also responded to this.

Pakistan’s 25 Chenab Rangers intermittently opened fire from Pappu Chak Post from 10 am to 5 am. During this period, the Maniyari post of BSF and the residential areas adjoining it were targeted.

However, there is no notice of loss of life or property in it. Pakistan has been continuously firing at the border to disrupt the security dam operations.
