J&K should be a bridge of peace between India-China-Pakistan : Mehbooba Mufti
Srinagar : Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, PDP Chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said, “PDP has always believed that Jammu and Kashmir should not be the cause of quarrel but should be the bridge of peace. Be it our neighbouring nations like Pakistan or China, who recently tried to enter LAC, I believe Mufti Ji’s dream of making J&K a bridge between India & its neighbors, is a formula, which govt will have to adopt”

PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti was released on 13 October only last month. Mehbooba was released after 14 months. He was detained last year after Article 370 was removed. Mehbooba (60) was first placed in precautionary custody on August 5 last year and later on February 6, under stringent PSA law. She was taken to her government residence on April 7, which the administration had previously declared a sub-jail.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has been continuously attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party since her release. She recently said that the BJP has ‘demolished’ the country’s constitution and wants to impose its manifesto in place of the constitution. Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said, “BJP wants to impose its manifesto by changing the constitution of the country but that will not happen. Many people like Hitler came and went. This dictatorship will not work ” Mufti said that the BJP does not like the people of Jammu and Kashmir and is only concerned about its ‘region’.
