Name of Akshay Kumar’s Film Laxmmi Bomb changed

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s new film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ has been mired in controversies before its release. The makers of the film have now decided to change the name of this film to calm the controversy.

Now the word bomb has been removed from the title of this film. The new name of the film will be ‘Laxmii’. The film Laxmii is going to release on the OTT platform Disney plus Hotstar on November 9.

Directed by Raghav Lawrence, the film was sent for censor certificate on Thursday. After the screening, the film was discussed between the filmmakers and CBFC. Keeping in mind the sentiments of the people, the producers of the film- Shabina Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have decided to change the name of the film.

Ever since the trailer of this film was launched, this film was engulfed in controversies. As soon as the trailer was released, many Twitter users accused it of promoting Love Jihad.
