PM Modi to E-inaugurate country’s largest Girnar Ropeway, Ahmedabad UN Mehta Hospital on Saturday

Rajkot : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually launch various important projects related to health, tourism and farmers of Gujarat on October 24 from Delhi, such information has been given by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Energy Minister Saurabh Patel will be present at Junagadh and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and Revenue Minister Kaushik Patel will be present at Ahmedabad.

Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel added that the UN Mehta Heart Research Institute, located at the Ahmedabad Campus, the largest civil hospital in Asia, has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment at a cost of Rs 470 crore. In which the best treatment of heart disease is being given. In which 850 beds are available. In addition, a separate system has been set up in the hospital for the treatment of young children with heart disease at birth or after birth, which will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

He added that the country’s largest ropeway-Girnar ropeway will also be inaugurated on the same day. One had to climb more than 10,000 steps to reach the top of the Girnar for the darshan of God Dattatreya. But now due to this ropeway project, old age pilgrims, children will easily be able to climb Girnar and will be able to enjoy the scenery of beautiful Girnar. At the same time, this new ropeway will be a big gift for millions of tourists who come to Gujarat every year to see the Asiatic Lion. Environmentalists will have the privilege of seeing the Girnar forest from the ropeway which will give a boost to the tourism industry of the state. And more employment will be created at the local level.

Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patil added that the government has successfully fulfilled the age-old demand of the farmers of the state to provide electricity during the day to use irrigation facilities. In the first phase, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’, which provides electricity to farmers of about two to three thousand villages in Patan, Gir Somnath and Dahod districts for irrigation. Thus, the launch of these projects for health, tourism and irrigation facilities for the citizens of the state will enhance the well-being of the citizens of the state and provide more and more facilities, he added.
