FIR Lodged Against 6 Including Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav In Murder Case Of Former RJD Leader
Purnia : RJD has suffered a major setback just before the Bihar Assembly elections. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, former Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav, State President of SCST Cell Anil Kumar Sadhu Paswan on the family’s recorded statement in the murder case of Shakti Malik, former secretary of RJD’s SC-ST cell in Purnia on Sunday. A case has been registered at Kehat police station, accusing six people, including RJD leader Kalo Paswan of Araria, of killing Shakti under the conspiracy. Purnia Superintendent of Police Vishal Sharma has confirmed filing an FIR.
Kehat police station Sunil Kumar Mandal said that an FIR has been filed against Tej Pratap, Tejashwi, Anil Kumar Sadhu (state president of RJD SC-ST cell), Manoj, Sunita and Kalo Paswan based on the statement of the deceased’s wife Khushbu Devi. She told that Mallick’s wife was accused of killing her husband under a political conspiracy and named many leaders in FIR. She said that her husband was preparing to contest the assembly elections as an independent candidate after being expelled from the RJD.
Also, there was a big disclosure in the case when a video released by Shakti Malik revealed the threat of death on Tejashwi Yadav. In the video released on September 29, Shakti said that Tejashwi Yadav had threatened to kill him.
Another video of Shakti Malik has been viral, in which he was suspecting of himself of political assassination. In this 18-second video, he directly says that Kalo Paswan wants to kill him. If anything happens to him, Kalo Paswan will be responsible for it. In the video, he is also saying that his (Shakti Malik’s) political assassination can happen anytime.
In Bihar, the ruling JDU spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad alleged that the leader of Opposition Tejashwi constantly talks about Dalits, backward, deprived but a video has gone viral and the same is the reality of the Leader of Opposition. He said that political activist Shakti Mallik of Raniganj assembly constituency was killed, who had accused Tejashwi Yadav of money transactions for the ticket a few days ago.
Prasad said that Tejashwi had demanded Rs 50 lakh from Malik and Rs 20 lakh after the ticket was finalized and on refusing it, Shakti Malik was abused and was shot and killed this morning. JDU leader Ajay Alok demanded that the Election Commission take cognizance of the matter and investigate the matter with the CBI.
